Masuda method
Hi all. Have you ever managed to get a shiny pokemon by using the masuda method without even really trying? Well I have. Just yesturday I got myself a shiny abra even though I was only aiming for one with a calm nature and the ability synchronize so I could use it for my next shiny hunt. The process only took about 60-70 eggs so it completely suprised me, since even if you decide to use the Mesuda method the chances of actually getting a shiny is still fairly low like 1/2000+. Anyway I'm not trying to boast, but I am curious to hear about your experiance with the masuda method.

I got a shiny Chikorita from the Matsuda Method. Sort of. I knew I had a Japanese Ditto and English Meganium in my daycare and was breeding Chikorita eggs to send to my HeartGold game when it first came out. One of the eggs hatched into a shiny with the nature I wanted- and only after like twenty or so eggs (I was more looking for nature than shiny but it was a plus~).

I have never gotten a Masuda method shiny egg. RNGing for shiny eggs on DPPt is really easy, so I just do that if I want a random shiny :I I did manage to get a shiny egg during some non-Masuda breeding. I think it took about 2,000 eggs or so.

No method needed to get my shiny Lapras yesterday!! After only 3 or so eggs between my Lapras and Dragonite, I got a good nature to go with the egg moves Dragon Dance and Iron Tail it was born with. I wasn't thinking in the least of shinyness. I was on cloud 9 the rest of the day at work, lol.

Don't think I'd have the patience to hatch 2000 eggs in hopes of getting something shiny.
