Pokemon Selector?
Just some questions about the Pokemon Selector (http://www.500mb.us/pkm.php), please indulge me if you've used it.

1. Have you encountered any problems with using it?
2. Have you successfully trained low-level pokemon without hitches?
3. Do they learn the usual moves as they evolve, or are you stuck with the four you select?
4. Do low-level legendaries become problematic? (I am wanting to train a completely legendary team, for my own amusement, but from them being low-level obviously)

Sorry to sound derpy, I just don't want my game borked should I try it out :)

Why not just get them at the level you want with the IV/EVs you want then you can avoid all problems/worries? Unless you want to train them yourself for whatever reason

Because you can select *any* pokemon with that site, so it's obviously good for things unavailable to me. &the legendaries obviously aren't low-level.

Any legit-species (ie not a horrific glitch a la 'M) will learn the proper moves as it goes. I had a horribly-hacked Kingdra (no OT, no ability, no starting moves) and it still learned as it went.

Fabulous, I'm guessing pokemon on the selector aren't terribly hacked, but no-one with direct experience has replied yet!

The only thing I use the selector for is to get pokemon and I use them for breeding. I just wish you could be specific with genders. Shinies, maybe, but mostly genders. Cause damn!! I wanna female surfing pikachu. :C And I missed out on the Yellow Forrest thing

I had a lot of trouble with breeding too, since you can't choose the gender. I was constantly going back and trying to get a female mon for breeding when all I was getting was male mons, and the reverse. It seemed that the specific pokemon I was sending would never switch to the gender I needed - but when I sent an evolution form instead, sometimes I would get the opposite gender. I had a couple of problems with getting the right mon as well when doing this over and over - even when I followed the steps to a T I would occasionally get one at the wrong level, with wrong movesets. The first time I ever used it I got a Pichu when I sent a Seedot!
I did find that when I sent myself a low level pokemon, it levelled super fast until it hit the level that it was originally set to on the Poke Selector website (when you first select it from the list). This may just be me over reading it though.

But nah, I didn't get any glitches in my game, though after a while I decided not to use my hacked ones since it made me feel bad aha. I'd prefer legits in my game. It's an amazing tool for people who find use out of it.
